This GPS sensor uses GPS satellites to convert the signal to velocity speed. The GPS sensor is a speed sensor targeted to farmers needing a distance sensor. It is a 12-parallel channel, WAAS-enabled GVS receiver. This gives the farmer a true ground speed for his tractor. It works with the DICKEY-john 3000, John Deere 250, Early Riser and Sensor-1 monitors, or any monitor that uses radar. It replaces the DICKEYjohn and Phillips radar guns and Distance Press Wheel Sensor.

The Mushroom-like receiver measures only 2.4 inches in diameter, weighs just under two ounces and is sealed to the environment. This makes it an ideal solution inside the tractor cab or for outside applications. It comes with a standard integrated magnetic base.

From tractor to tractor...just plug it in and go! One can quickly be transferred from tractor to tractor. Simply connect to the monitor/control equipment, perform the same set-up calibration that you would on your equipment pulse sensors, and you are ready to go!
